Welcome to the second part of this write up. The last time, I mentioned that in order to make it online!, you must first have the belief that you too will become a guru – an expert online whom other newbies will also be running to for training. This is very important because it is this belief that will gear you up for greater things online.



All the known gurus started first as newbie before going through the curves and today, they are call experts. Have the courage in the face of defeats and disappointments that nothing will make you to be discourage.


Treat every disappointment as the necessary experience which you must pass through before being call an expert in this new field of yours. Lastly, I mentioned that you must treat this online venture of yours as a business. Do not think of the money first because this will definitely come but think about this new business that you want to carry to the top in order for people to know you and regard you too as a guru.

Now to the continuation; you must have an adequate plan on ground before venturing on line. Make adequate plan of what it takes to make this business of yours a real business, then work hard towards it. I will not deceive you here, online business entails working hard. All the gurus that are making six figures today did not start like that initially.

There is always the teething period. You must try to lay a good foundation for your business, then work to sustain it. You must desist from the attitude of running from one venture to the other. I get caught up with this attitude when I first started but later realized that I was not making anything. I was just like a rolling stone which gathers no moss. That is why you must make adequate plan and then focus your attention on this plan of yours.



If you need instant money, then survey is for you but it is not a passive business. You must be constantly be doing surveys in order to have money. Whereas, you can be making money with Adsense even if you are not physically present. That is why Adsense money is regarded as passive money but all the structures must have been put in place ditto for information business, affiliate to mention just a few.

Once the structure is well on ground then the moneywill start rolling in but it involves perseverance. Therefore do not give up if you have not started seeing money flowing into your bank. Take this period as the learning process through which you must pass through in order to succeed and like every learning period, it take time to grow; just know that when there is a will, then there will surely be a way.

Don’t you forget, adequate planning is very paramount because without it, you may not get far. With adequate plan, results will show with adequate plan, the results will show with time. Later on, you will learn and know how to automate your business so as to save more time and money and with these, you can then have the time to embark on another venture on the net.




In addition, the importance of having your own niche could not be over emphasized; this is because according to some people, this is the blood and soul of your online business. This niche of yours should be something that you are so passionate about. I think I will have to write on NICHE very soon.




It should be involve in an area that should be of interest to you, you must fall in love with your niche so that it will definitely reflect in your bid to make it start laying the proverbial golden egg for you.

There is this feeling from a pal of mine who had just ventured into the online business that there is no money again on the net. According to him, all the gurus have made all the money that are available on the internet and that newbies are just wasting their time and their precious scarce resources on online business because there is no more money to be made again there. He went further to stress the fact that he had been on this internet business for quite some time now but to his dismay, he had not made a cent. You can start making money immediately now through this program;





I don’t blame him much for we were both retrenched at the same time by the political administration in our state in Nigeria who felt that some teachers in the secondary school had to go, not because they were not hard working, but by the mere fact they studied some “offensive courses” while they were in the University like Food Science and Physical Education to just mention two of the courses.

According to these politicians, such courses are not necessary for their own modern world as their own mothers did not do food science in school yet they prepare good delicacies for their aged fathers and that teachers who were teaching students Physical Education are only breeding armed robbers because these students can jump over high fences with ease; what utter nonsense!

Well we were laid off, I am a bit fortunate for I got a new job after staying at home for three years and this set me thinking that I must look for alternative mean (legally) to earn an additional means of income- what if another crazy politician comes up with a useless formula to lay us off again. My friend saw how comfortable I have become after venturing into internet business making cool money through Adsense, surveys, affiliate and information businesses that he too quickly ran to the net for succour.





He came with the belief that you just come to the internet and start packing bags upon bags of money immediately you are there on the internet. After just weeks of his futile attempt to gather money, he is yet to make a dime. He then called me to express his apprehension.


I don’t know whether you are in the same shoes with my pal and that is why I have decided to make this simple submission with the belief that you too can and will succeed legally on the internet. Success doesn’t just come to you unless you decide within you and say that you really want to succeed.



You too can make fabulous wealth online because there are so many virgin land yet untapped there. You just have to know that at the back of every successful person, there is a definite step which had been directed to a specific goal. I want you to also realize that success begins the moment you look forward to it and decides that you really want it.






What you really need is the courage to practice all that you have been learning from the gurus; which means, you must take deliberate steps to learn a lot of knowledge about internet business and also take deliberate steps to implement all that you have learnt.

Here, you must know what you want, by this I do not mean that you should say that I want money, money and more money; this is a very wrong approach to making money. I will be wrong to say that I too don’t want money, sure every one needs money; at least we need it in order to meet some of our basis needs, however, it shouldn’t be the main basis of going into any business venture.

Even in offline business, we all establish it in order to have money, but we must first treat it as a business first before the business will start making us money!. Therefore, even though you want money, treat your online business first as a real business with all the seriousness it deserves before thinking of the money it will bring you.

PATRICK: Would it be safe to say that those who aren't as successful as they would like probably aren't doing those 3 things? Is there anything else that holds people back or limits their success with Paid Surveys ?

DEBORAH: With the right attitude, those key ingredients will get anyone off to a dynamite start. And once the survey invitations start rolling in, devoting a consistent amount of TIME to it will drive the income higher and keep it growing - But ATTITUDE is everything.

Many people look at the internet as the last "goldrush" or pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. NOT!! The Internet is no different than any offline store, business, or job if you are looking to make a full-time income from it.

PATRICK: You've been doing this for awhile and you're obviously pretty successful yourself. Do you think anyone can achieve what you've done, or do you have special skills or qualifications that contribute to your success?

DEBORAH: Other than the fact that I was totally commited to being successful with paid surveys - I'm personally no rocket scientist, nor am I equiped with any special skills that set me apart from the rest. In fact, I've had to work around certain physical limitations that most others don't need to even consider. If I can earn a full-time income with paid surveys - ANYONE CAN!

PATRICK: People often ask us why they should join a website like ours. Some suggest that they could just go to Google, search for all the market research companies, and do it all on their own. What are your thoughts on that?

DEBORAH: Patrick ... Over the last year many folks have told me they prefer to search for the market research companies on their own, rather than pay the one-time $30-40 membership fee to an online survey database. Invariably they all come back to me after searching for 2-3 months and finding only 50-75 market research companies - and they end up joining a survey database after all - WISHING they'd just done it from the start because they'd be registered with several HUNDRED market research companies and receiving survey invitations by that time if they had.

Interview with Deborah Casey - Part 1

PATRICK: Even after learning they can get paid for their opinions, many people are still skeptical. Let's get this out of the way right now - how long have you been doing this and do you really get paid for your opinions?

DEBORAH: Since 1999 I've been consistently participating in paid surveys, focus groups, and product evaluations. And since 2001 I've been getting paid handsomely for my opinions online - faithfully receiving my survey income by direct deposit into my PayPal account, or by check sent by postal mail.

PATRICK: Ok, maybe you could give us a little background on yourself. How did you first learn that you could get paid for your opinions? How did you get started? And what was it like when you got started?

DEBORAH: I was first exposed to paid surveys and focus groups back in the 50s, when I was just a child. My mother and aunts were participating in surveys and opinion polls for cash. In fact, many housewives of that era were participating in "paid for opinion" work and contributing to their family's income.
But it wasn't until the early 70s that I personally got involved. I had a couple of good friends who were getting paid for their opinions, and they convinced me to give it a try. They were both young stay-at-home moms. I saw that they were having quite a lot of fun and earning significant money too.
At that time, I was more interested in making a difference with my opinion than I was about the money to be earned. I continued to take part in surveys well into the 1980s.

Nothing was accessible online as it is today. Surveys were sent by mail or you met at a specific location by appointment. All surveys, focus groups, and polls required completion by hand and submission by return mail if you can believe that.
Getting the surveys, completing them, sending them back, and receiving the checks in the mail took more work and more time. But it was fun, rewarding, and the income was a wonderful bonus.

As my life and career evolved over the next few years, I gradually phased out participating in surveys. But then, suddenly in 1999 I was presented with a new challenge. I'd become disabled and unable to work a regular job outside the home.
With my savings entirely gone and desperate to find a way to extend my small disability income in order to pay my mortgage and survive - money was now a BIG issue and I needed to do something.


Grasping at straws one sleepless night, I decided to see if I could reconnect with the handful of market research firms I'd taken surveys for so long ago. 4 of the 5 were still around.
In 1999 (and even later) most market research companies were still not online and required registration by mail and completion and return of surveys by mail as well. But I started taking a few surveys from these original companies and realized I needed lots more to make enough money to make a difference in my life.
So ...
That began my 2-year search to discover enough market research companies to support a significant full-time income.
Then in mid 2001, with a total of less than 100 market research companies after searching for nearly two years, I discovered the first survey database on the Internet. It had less than 100 market research companies - about 35% requiring registration by mail. But I felt I'd hit the jackpot. I'd been making extra money taking surveys right up to this time. But things started getting much easier and much more lucrative from here on.

PATRICK: Wow, that sounds like a lot of work! With more and more market research companies operating strictly online, I've noticed that it's easier than ever for the average person to get started and be successful. What do you think?

DEBORAH: Yes, Patrick. It's certainly is a whole lot easier getting started with paid surveys now that most market research companies are available online. There's really no comparison.
Its also a lot easier and quicker to begin earning significant income with this opportunity because people can tap into several HUNDRED market research companies from one online survey database. And since all survey offers can be received by email and completed right from the market research companies websites, payments are fast and the pay is much higher.

PATRICK: One of the first things people always want to know is just how much can they make for giving their opinions. Based on your experience, how much would you say a person could make with part-time effort? What about full-time?

DEBORAH: How much anyone can earn is really subject to the person - motivation, commitment, time available, etc. As for me, I easily earn $500 per month working with paid surveys from 2-4 hours per week. Working with surveys over 25 hours per week I've consistently earned a minimum $2,500 per month - with my highest paying month about $4,700.
I've been doing this now for several years and am registered with 100s and 100s of market research companies. But anyone who is actively registered with at least 300 market research companies should have no trouble earning an extra $300-500 per month working at it part-time. A full-time effort should easily bring an additional $2,500 per month, with that figure increasing the longer someone sticks with it.
